Thanks for your note, John. It's good to know that I'm not alone in this. I do suspect that I won't be bringing them to a dealer, though. The lug nuts are rusty enough that I would rather risk damaging the rim and the tire than risk snapping a stud or breaking my back trying to get the tires off and get them onto a trailer that I don't own.
Can you tell me what size tubes were installed and what size tires you have?
