I am 99% certain that the 580C does not have a breather on the reservoir as it is a closed system that builds up pressure that forces the oil into the hydraulic pump,the oil level and filler plug is on the left side to the front of the step,you will find its a threaded plug and should you remove it after the machine has been working with the engine stopped you will hear a pop as the air escapes,that is normal,watch out for a splash of hot oil.
