I am a new farmer and purchased a Case 580 CK from a neighbor. The backhoe has been removed but it still has the loader and of course the three point hitch and PTO. My intention was to use this former backhoe as a farm tractor. Problem is, I can't get any traction. It won't even pull a single bottom plow, and every time I get some weight in the bucket, I'm stuck. I know that part or most of the problem is that I have lost the rear end weight. I had calcium put into the tires but it doesn't help much. Two people have told me that I have industrial tires and switching to ag tires would help tremendously. So I am prepared to go on a search for ag tires but don't know where to start. The tires on the Case now have the following numbers: G-2, 13.00-24TG, SCG-2A. Any help would be appreciated.
