The seals on the intake valve should be replaced if the valves are removed as the groove for the keepers can damage the seals if valves are removed,they can also go hard and crack or break up,pull the rocker cover and check that the plugs in each end of the rocker shaft are in place and tight,if a plug had come out too much oil would flood the area,run the engine to see that the oil is flowing back down to the pan and not pooling,if it is pooling on top check why,if the pistons and rings are good that leaves the valve guide as the entry point unless an oil ring is broken.
