Could water have got in,take the bottom filter off and see what is in it,while the filter is off check the flow coming out of the tank,if you have a good flow and the diesel is clean with no water or gunge in it put the filter back on,check the restrictor valve on the return line elbow on the pump top cover,if that gets blocked it causes bad running.
