It more than likely that it's the seal on the imput shaft thats leaking,to replace the seal the pump has to come off and be dismantled,the seal does fit in from the front but there is a bearing outside it that has to be removed to get to the seal,before opening the pump scribe a match mark that will not come off on one side so all the sections will get put back in the same place and looking in the same direction as they are in,replace the bearing and the other seals.
