Could it be the emergency brake trying to apply itself? Have seen some 580E's where the shaft that the rotor turns on is worn badly and causing the rotor to rub against the brake pads in an erratic manner. Jack one wheel up and put it on stands and see if that could be the case. Let me know if this is the problem as there is a simple fix for it.
