1945 Case SO

A bit of history: This 1945 Case SO was one of five models in the J.I. Case “S” series of tractors. The “SO” model served the needs of orchard and grove farmers with “...two-plow power in a fully equipped orchard tractor with disk-type turning brakes,” according to the Case Model “S” Series brochure from 1945.

The brochure also stated, “Here is a tractor built for better farming. It is more than a piece of machinery. It is modern power for your whole system of farming. With a Case “S” series tractor, you are equipped to turn your plans into profits, to put your knowledge of better farming into practice. it give you the flexible efficient power you need to handle every job faster, better, easier.”
