In Reply to: 1985 580 C Loader shuttle shift problem in reverse posted by Sandi Bernard on Wednesday, April 08, 2009:

Go underneath and check that the F/R shift control is moving the valve,if ok disconnect the wires going to the clutch cut out solenoid,if still no joy your problem is either the seal on the reverse clutch pack piston is leaking or the pack is worn,a pressure test is in order.
