Ryan I probably never seen a Case 730 as it construction equipment I work on,your problem sounds as if it lost pressure all of a sudden the question now is why,probables,the pump is starved of oil,the relief has stuck open or the pump has failed,the humming noise you hear is usually the oil bypassing in the filter when the oil is cold,looking at the parts drawing there is a suction filter on the pickup for the torque oil pump,that would want to be clean and have no water in it that could freeze and block the oil supply.
