I just got a 1948 moline tractor, model UT. I found out that it had a freeze plug that needs to be replaced. I took the head off and what I am going to call the intermediate head which the pistons are sleeved into. My question is, how do you compress the pistons rings to sleeve the intermediate head back on? Or do I have to take the oil pan off and put the pistons back in from below. Somebody PLEASE HELP!
Thank You,
Tim
