My original problem was that the tractor wouldn't idle down and was very sluggish to speed up. I put in new bushings and they are not too tight. I then put two machine washers behind the spring as I couldn't locate a new one. It seemed to work fine for about a year. We use it a lot on our farm. It is one of two that we have. It acted up the same way again so I added two more machine (thin) washers. It has good snap but won't idle unless I pull the throttle shaft down with very light pressure. Any thoughts?
