Hi,
Saw this site through Goooogle. My Dad has what we believe to be a very collectible Minnie. We think this is a 1948. The VIN plate shows it as 0044800038. By looking in the books we think this means this is a 1948 RTE and was the 37th or 38th one built that year. It has a unique wide front end that has been on it from day one. We are currently prepping it for final restoration. Has been in the family for over 44 years. We just want to be sure we have it listed properly when he starts going to shows with it.
