'56 445 - No start - The basics?

Step father just purchased a '56 Moline 445. It hasn't been started for a year and half. During the time it had new plugs/wires/points/condensor but still no start.

We are going to do some basics - Battery/terminals/battery wires and give a jolt of starting fluid w/ some new gas.

If this comes to no avail, what should we look at?
