As you sit on the tractor looking forward:
On the right below where the belt pulley goes and between it and the rear axle on the side of the transmission case you will find a tag that has the model type and serial number. On the opposite side toward the front you will find a 2nd tag which is the description and serial number for the engine. These are smart dates and will tell you the year each was built.
