Do you happen to know what tractor takes this starter with the three ears. The starter I baught was listed on Craigs list, as a 8n starter. My bad luck. I checked on having my old one rebuilt but the guy said it would be 80.00, a bit spendy I think, but still cheeper than another new one I guess. Is it useally just the brushes, and bushings that go bad. How do I check the windings, and the rest of it to see if it's worth rebuilding?
