You might have cleaned off the splines on one of the rear axle hubs. It happend to me. Jack up the rear end, put the tractor in gear and try to rotate one wheel or the other. If one does rotate or seems to have abnormal play in it then that hub is bad. You have to replace both the axle and hub. Whatever is the problem, you should get the I&T FO-4 service manual. Do a Google search on that, they are all over. Keep us informed on your progress.
