Bob is correct, the + side of the coil goes to the distributor. If the tractor sat outdoors, I would check all the plug and coil wires for corrosion too. Also the battery cables both ends of each. Make sure they are clean and tight. Then are you getting fuel to the cylinders? Keep us informed.
