I recently bought this mower, using it on my '51 8N. While changing belts I noticed the gear case leaking oil and the bottom bearing bad. The seller furnished a folder/manual/specs/maint,etc, it was down loaded via ED Gooding(VA), was probably recopied a few times, not to clear. Ed, if you see this you can help here...I'm using these Repair Procedures, titled, GEARBOX REPAIR fig. 23, going fine until paragraph starting with,,,Remove socket hd screw attaching pulley hub to gear shaft, OK to here, I cannot remove woodruff key, hub, or pulley from gear shaft. Tried heating with propane, spreading with 4 bolts & nuts, no luck yet. Any ideas? A better exploded view would help. This is my first entry on your forum, hope I didn't break too many rules.
