We’ve done a ring & valve job on my 53 NAA, also replaced the bearing inserts. We thought it wise to crank the engine with the starter before trying to fire it off. The oil pressure gauge, after a few tries, just came off the peg, showing approx 2 psi. We’re worried that perhaps the oil pump has lost suction. Does anyone have experience or advice.
