Normally the condensor is down with the points, check to see if there is one hooked to the coil side of the points. the gap on the points should be .015" when open. check for power to the coil and thru the coil. the points may be burnt or corroded and may be due for replacement. with everything hooked up, check for spark at the plugs. Should be able to jump 3/16" gap, with an ice blue look. if you have electical current to the points and now fire then I would replave the points.
I would suggest that you get the I&T FO-4 Service manual if you do not have one. It will be a big help.
