This drawing is of a late 8n 6 volts. I will look around and see if I can find the directions for converting the sqaure can to the round can coil.
I am not sure how they got the wire from the coil to the points. Is there a condensor wired to the coil instead of at the points? I think I saw one in the pictures. that might be the extra wire.
