Yes, big difference. Someone has riggied it to use a round can coil instead of square can. I don't have a clue how that should be done. I should have noticed the generator on the right side. I know that people remove the guts out of the square can but don't hae a clue how it should be wired. But all said the power will still have to run from the ighnition switch thru the coil and then to the points. Just not sure how it should run. I don't see what it would have two wire to one post. Is it still 6 volts or has it been changed to 12?
Good luck
Keep us osted on this.
