8N clutch not releasing when hot

When cold, my 8N clutch operates fine in all gears. During mowing, pushing down clutch does not release gears. Tractor continues in gear even with clutch pedal down until heavy braking forces a stop. Clutch seems to release, but have to pull stick shift hard to get out of gear. When shifting back in gear, I push clutch, shift into gear, but either grind gears or jump straight into gear and jump forward. Any one have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
