My friend went to start his 8N and nothing happens. Starter does not turn over, solenoid does not click, there is no sound, just nothing. When jumper cables are attachjed to the battery, the engine cranks immediately on it's own and runs fine. Do not have to push the starter button. Engine quits running if you remove the jumper. Is this a solenoid problem? Engine started and ran fine just a few days earlier. Thanks for any help.
