My dad always said to make an engine run you need spark and fuel. I'd bet you don't have spark. Start out by tracing from the begining. Battery power ok? Power to coil ok? Power to distributor ok? Power to plugs ok? If you have a front mount your timing should be ok. If you have a side mount check the timing.
