"If the touch control handle is almost to the top of it's travel it may simply be that the control valve is not being pushed in far enough. If this is the way it is then you may be able to adjust the quadrant mount by loosening the four bolts that attach it to the lift housing and with a hammer peck the quadrant toward the back of the tractor. The mounting holes for the quadrant are elongated just for this adjustment. This will make the lift begin to lift farther down the quadrant"
