On John Smiths site he said that you should be able to rotote engine over backwards to relieve the stress so that you can move the gears. Hope something did not break in there. Since you cannot rotate the engine backwards you may have to split it at the engine. The bound up gears were caused by the engine so that is the end that you have to turn backwards to unwind the stress.
