Just finished up painting this 51 8n. It sat for years in the woods and didn't run when we got it. Cleaned float bowl, and carb. It started and ran great. Took it apart and cleaned everything up, new plugs and wires, points had been changed, painted everything and put it back together. After putting back together, it started backfiring through the carb, it would run but no power to speak of, and ran rough. Checked firing order, it was good, checked plugs, #1 and #4 were oil fouled, but had fire in them. What would cause this, it ran so good for the first cruse, I can't beleave it's anything too bad.
