Today I did a full tuneup on my 1953 Jubilee, plugs, points, condenser, rotor and cap. I also removed the carburetor and cleaned it up. The tractor started ok but would barely run up to about 700 rpm and had no power and began to overheat. I also put on a new coil and forgot that this unit is positive ground and put the live wire on the positive side of the coil. Also I removed the weights inside the distributor and freed them up as they were rusty.
The tractor ran well up until last week when it began to backfire and lose power this is why I did the tune up.
Any suggestions as to what I have done wrong?
