I bought a 52 8n that ran fine when I decided to check the water one day after bushhogging I noticed oil in radiator. I drained and hardly no oil came out so I asked previous owner. It was some stop leak stuff that is black and looks alot like oil. I would drain the oil and see if you got any antifreeze in the block. If not I would buy it and eventually restore they are some tough old tractors.
