It is a cat. 1. The horse power, depending on what article you read, is rated at 31. The motor was a 134 cubic inch. When you talk horse power there are several terms. Some are drawbar some are just engine rated. Some ever talk about at the belt if you put on an impliment. Just do a "Google Search" on the tractor and you'll see what I mean. There are a lot of articles you can research. Have fun.
