the FO-4 manual states that the bearings are to be packed with grease. Also says that the late 8n's have the inner seal. I have never done this but it makes it sound like to pack all the bearings reguardeless wheter there is the inner seal or not. I need to check mine. Probally have not been lubed in 30 years. My service book says to repack wheel bearings every 1800 hours and at each brake replacement.
