You'll need to take the top cover plate off and see what came loose in there. You need to get a manual and see how it is put together. I read an article on another website the other day. Some guy who works on these old tractors explained how they get worn. When shifting you should take your time and realize your not driving a sports car ha. Several posts I've read about tractors getting stuck in two gears is a result of this he explained. Get the manual and you should have an easy fix I would think.
