working on a 8n that came with a 12 volt battery, so I assum its a 12 volt set up. problem is when I pulled the battery out to charge it and wanted to put it back in I forgot which pole went where. I know its a positive ground set up for a 6 volt system, but with a 12 volt battery do I still hook up positive to ground or ground to ground. I've tried it both ways and the engine turned over both times. sure do appreciate your help, thanks.
