Do what Billy Goat says about trying to seal the rings, That autolite 437 is the acceptable plug to use, also check that the timing advance is within spec, or try to advance the timing a small bit more. If it continues to foul plugs, then probably too much blowby and oil is fouling the plugs, then an overhaul is in order. The seller needs to assume some responsibility for this. Off course it could be a weak coil or ignition parts, these are cheaper to do than heading into an overhaul.
