Had a buddy with a small ford tractor that needed the guides knurled. The local Ford Tractor dealer near Kansas City wanted $450.00 to knurl the valve guides. We loaded the tractor on a truck and drove to a small town 50 miles away to a machine shop. The guy at the shop climbed up onto the flat bed and did his thing. We gave him $50.00 and drove home with a smile on our face!
