buy a circuit tester at an auto parts store, also check to see if 6v pos. ground or 12 v neg groung, Ihave a 9n i converted to 12v neg gound, not a bad little tractor for what it is meant to do, real snappy. with the tester you will be able to tell if you have power to different switchs. mine recently did this and i was able to diagnose the problem. it was the part the battery cable and starter cable bolt to and is part of the starter button. they are very good tractors, parts are readily available.
