It's not very much trouble. There's a good chance one of the brush's is worn down or broken. You can't know until you look. Brushes are cheap, but it could be several other things such as an open coil winding, an open armature winding. Those would be kind of rare. If the brushes don't fix it you could take it to a mom and pop type elecrical shop and usually they can repair it fully for not much money. It's worth checking out. Billy
