The air from the fan is normal. As for the temp. gauge, Fords tractor was designed with a large radiator which is more than adequate to cool the engine and I guess he felt a guage was not needed. He was not the kind of man to spend money on things not necessary. When you fill the radiator fill it just to the top of the core, which you can see through the filler opening. Anymore than that will boil out and you'll think you have a problem. You can add a gauge if you are uncomforable without one and there are several way to do this. Billy
