Evan, I would be hard put to drive any of the three 8N`s I own into water above the bottom part of the pto housing. Any water getting into the axle trumpets or the hydraulic could cause you a lot of trouble down the road. If your bearings or seals are real warm when you drive out into the water the cooling effect will cause water to get sucked into them. Not good.
