Recently broke the lift arm while bush hogging. neighbor thinks he can either weld it, or have a friend do it. I have removed the two bolts and cover plate from it but can't get the lift arm off. (was going to buy a used one from 'Phil's' but they couldn't get it off either) Have tried a gear puller but can't obtain leverage - ends too big to fit, etc.

Some discussions spoke to 'heating' and 'beating' but couldn't determine if they were attempting to get the bolts out or remove the lift arm itself.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
