Herman, Safety should always be first in consideration of any changes to any piece of equipment. The original starter buttons on these tractors require the transmission to be in neutral before they can be activated. If you put the button on the dash you will be able to get the starter to roll over with the tractor in any gear. There have been more people hurt by this change over than we would like to count. Save yourself OR SOMEONE ELSE some grief and leave it in the original configuration. After a change like that safety is second and liability becomes the first rule at hand.
