If, right after you turn the tractor off, the radiator sounds like there are gremlins inside banging with hammers, you have an overheating problem. (That's the liquid boiling.) Otherwise, just check to make sure both upper and lower hoses get hot, and don't worry about it.
I had and overheating problem that ended up creating a domino mess: I replaced an old, weak water pump with a strong, new water pump that blew my old, weak head gasket. The real problem ended up being years of debris in the exterior coils of the radiator...just one of those days, I guess.
