Hello All.
Many thanks for all the info you guys put on this forum.
I have a 1952 8N that was running but very poorly and now won't even start.
it is a 6V system with side mount distributor.
I had it running but afet a few minutes she sputters out and dies. If i play with the choke I can get it back to the garage but it has no power under any load and idles erratically.
I rebuilt the carb yesterday and got it to run for a second but now wont start.
I pulled drain plug and have lots of fuel.
I am going to change points tonight and check for spark.
I was boosting it from a 12V battery as the battery is stone dead and I am wondering if I could have fried my coil?
I ordered a new one today and will try.
Can you boost from a 12 v salefly.
I boosted it to the starter no the battery as i was told thats what you are supposed to do?
if anyone can help it would be kindly appreciated.
Thanks
