I am new to tractors. I just bought a 1964 Ford 2000 4 cyl gas. I am trying to figure out the starter button next to the shifter. When I bought it, the wiring was as rigged as it could get. I like to have things as original as possible. I am trying to wire it properly but when I wire it according to the diagram, it doesn't work. It also doesn't make sense to me that the starter button would ground the top small terminal of the solenoid. I am either missing something or have the wrong/bad solenoid. I have everything else worked out on the tractor and this is the last thing to bring back to original.
Thanks
