kevin, oddly enough these old fords will run pretty good on just two cylinders. first check the fire on that particular plug wire. if it aint fireing the gas is not getting burnt. also could be a stuck ring, in which case put a couple ounces of automatic tranny fluid in that cylinder and let it sit 3 or 4 days and this will usually unstick it.
