Look at the top of the piston and look for wash or carbon not sticking to the piston (rub your finger around the edge of the piston) if it is oily and then rubs off oily, then oil is coming through the rings. The valve guide cannot use that much oil and if if does use a little it would be the int valve, not the exhaust.
