I have a 1500 my steering wore out ,ford won't 900.00 for 2-worm gears to repair it! I called broke-ford tractor in Commerce TX. I bought a steering assemble steering of 1700 .They did inter-change the diol-pin holes had to be relocated.The old steering had 6" slack the new used one has no slack best 300.00 spent on my tractor!
