I have a 2002 Agco MF 1428V with a MF Loader. I believe its a 1464 model. I was using my finish mower when i used the 3 point hitch to lift the mower up to max heigt and then i noticed there was hyd. fluid dripping from my bucket loader lever control. The boot has a split and it was dripping from the split. I pulled the boot off of the single lever control and see that there are 3 metal plungers there. Seem to be spring loaded. My question is if i remove the 3 to 4 allen head bolts that holds this plate together will i be able to replace seals or will i need special tools? Are the springs going to give me trouble when i separate this single lever contol asy? Im not sure what i will find in there when i open it up. The machine has less than 600 hours on it and seems to be a pain in the but with small problems. I bought this unit to replace a 18 horse Kubota Diesel B7100 tith 4500 hours on it. Never had a problem with that machine. Thought i was upgrading! There is an engine oil leak also that im going to have to deal with.
